If you are looking for a friendly yard with the emphasis on treating your horse as an individual and on the doorstep of some of the best riding country in Surrey, then Tumber Livery is likely to fit the bill. Most importantly, Tumber is a BHS Approved livery yard.
With 42 horse and pony stables and all year round turnout on 38 acres of well drained downland grazing, Tumber offers all round facilities to suit both rider and horse.
There is extensive local hacking direct from the yard, with minimal roadwork. Headley Heath is on our doorstep and Mickleham Downs a short ride away. Walton Heath (20mins), Box Hill (20mins) and Epsom Downs (25mins) are all within hacking distance.
The area is great for long distance riders as the countryside offers long uninterrupted hacks, gentle and steep hill work and access to old grass gallops on Walton Heath and sand gallops on Epsom Downs (after 12pm) suitable for interval training.
The Mid-Surrey branch of the pony club, which has an extensive range of activities throughout the summer months, is within hacking distance for the younger rider.
